About the design
Shape Shifter, Earthen Shadow, created by Irina Chikati, explores abstract form through an earthy, layered collage of fluid silhouettes and chalky brushwork. What we particularly like about our design is the gentle tension between large, rounded silhouettes and more deliberate, linear strokes that float across the foreground. The warm tonal variations range from deep charcoal-brown and dark espresso through to soft beige and pale ochre-tinted taupe.
Close up, you notice painterly nuances like dry-brush cross-hatching and translucent overlays that let underlying shapes subtly show through. From a distance across the room, these details coalesce into a balanced visual rhythm that feels grounded without feeling heavy.
